Abstract:

Contour injection plasty (CIP) is gaining wider popularity at the present stage of development of plastic and aesthetic medicine. Bioinertness is one of the basic requirements for placed implants. The authors describe their studies of facial soft tissues after CIP using different types of gels. The data of ultrasound and histomorphological examinations of affected tissues are given. The immediate and late complications associated both with the reaction of the adjacent tissues to implanted materials and those with a medical error are found.
