Abstract:

Non-invasive diagnostic methods are extensively employed to evaluate the efficiency of therapy of skin diseases. They include confocal laser optical scanning microscopy (CLOSM) and ultrasonic dermascanning that make it possible to visualize the morphological structure of diffferent skin layers. Using these techniques, we assessed efficiency, tolerance, and safety of the mometasone furoate cream (Uniderm) applied for the external treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
