Management of patients with local complications of vascular access for hemodialysis is still an unsolved problem in vascular surgery. It is not always possible to use a synthetic prosthesis as an alternative. There are not many solutions in case of suppurative-inflammatory process affecting vascular prosthesis. Allografts may be preferred in these cases. There is no experience of using a fresh prepared superficial femoral vein from a postmortem donor as a material for permanent vascular access in Russian and foreign literature. We report the use of allogeneic vein from a postmortem donor for permanent vascular access. The possibility of effective use of fresh harvested allogeneic vein for permanent vascular access in patients with infectious complications is shown.
