Abstract:

According to current international clinical guidelines, aortic valve (AV) reimplantation and aortic root remodeling with AV annuloplasty are the most appropriate in patients with aortic root aneurysm. This review is devoted to patient selection criteria for valve-sparing aortic root surgery.
