Abstract:

Objective — to study and compare the effectiveness and safety of various methods of transfusion therapy in on-pump cardiac surgery. Material and methods. The study included a retrospective and prospective trials. A retrospective analysis enrolled 199 patients who underwent surgery in 2010—2016. A prospective study included 53 patients who underwent various cardiac surgical interventions in 2015—2016. Clinical and laboratory data, perioperative dynamics of inflammatory markers were studied for three different methods of transfusion therapy. Results. Transfusion of fresh frozen plasma results increased incidence of postoperative infectious complications and heart rhythm disturbances in cardiac patients.
