Aim - to analyze immediate results of coronary artery bypass grafting using microvascular technique and surgical microscope. Material and methods. A total of 62 coronary artery disease patients (age 61.1±7.5 years) were enrolled. Clinical state, incidence of adverse cardiac and non-specific events, patency of grafts before discharge were evaluated. Results. The obtained data suggest that use of microsurgical technique and microscope during CABG is safe, completely eliminates the risk of technical errors as possible causes of graft occlusion in early postoperative period after surgery. Moreover it does not increase the incidence of in-hospital cardiovascular complications and may be recommended for widespread introduction into clinical practice.
