Aim. To determine predictors of recurrent atrial fibrillation (AF) after radiofrequency ablation and coronary artery bypass grafting in patients with coronary heart disease combined with atrial fibrillation. Material and methods. It was performed 297 operations in patients with coronary artery disease and various forms of atrial fibrillation for the period 2007—2012. Depending on the method of radiofrequency exposure patients with each form of AF were randomized into three groups: group I — pulmonary veins isolation, group II — left atrial radiofrequency fragmentation and group III — left atrial ganglionated plexus ablation. Results. Cox regression analysis showed that left atrial size over 6.5 cm and history of arrhythmia for over 10 years significantly effect on the recurrent atrial fibrillation incidence.
