Abstract:

The problem of timely diagnosis and treatment of patients with critical limb ischemia and diabetes mellitus is discussed. It is shown that ultrasound duplex scanning allows to obtain sufficient information for choose of surgical treatment. The benefits of reconstructive surgery on the arteries of the lower limbs with critical ischemia before delaying tactic of conservative treatment with necrosectomy surgery and "small" amputations are demonstrated.
