Abstract:

It was done an analysis of results of tricuspid valve replacement in 186 patients with different etiology of defect including 89.2% of cases with bioprostheses implantation. Single-valve replacement was performed in 43.5% of patients, two-valve correction - in 32.8%, three-valve correction - in 23.7% of patients. Complications were observed in 24.4% of the operated patients. Mortality was 13.4%. Long-term results were studied in 126 (78.3%) patients. Bioprostheses dysfunction was diagnosed in 8.2% of patients, thrombosis of a mechanical prosthesis - in 11.1%. A pacemaker was implanted in 32.7% of patients. 41.8% of patients remained the need for diuretics. Need for tricuspid valve re-prosthetics was in 13.5% of patients. Mortality was 12.7% in the late period, the actuarial 10-year survival rate - 87.3%.
