Abstract:

The results of 83 operations in the coronary arteries and mitral valve were analyzed retrospectively. 51 operations were done on a working heart without extracorporeal circulation (group 1) and 32 - on the stopped heart (group 2). Glomerular filtration rate was assessed 48 hours before operation and in 14 days after operation. Acute kidney injury was assessed on a scale RIFLE. It is defined that time decrease of extracorporeal circulation in combined heart operations does not effect on the frequency of acute kidney injury and the need for renal replacement therapy in the postoperative period. The time decrease of extracorporeal circulation is possible because of performance of myocardial revascularization on the working heart.
