Abstract:

47 male and female patients aged 60,1±10,7 years with coronary heart disease were investigated. According to selective coronary angiography data 2 groups of patients were revealed basing on the absence (control group) or presence (main group) of hemodynamically significant coronary artery stenosis. Patients from the main group underwent transluminal balloon angioplasty with stenting. Statistically significant association was revealed between hemodynamically significant coronary artery stenosis and atherogenic lipid fractions (lipoprotein (a), very low-density lipoproteins), inflammatory markers (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha) and an endothelial function parameter (endothelin-1). In long-term period after coronary angioplasty with stenting statistically significant decrease in atherogenic and increase in antiatherogenic parameters were estimated as well as prolonged inflammation activation (C-reactive protein) and maintenance of endothelial disorganization.
