Abstract:

The authors report the results of the surgical treatment of patients presenting with massive pulmonary thromboembolism. Indications for the surgical intervention to desobliterate the pulmonary artery under conditions of artificial blood circulation and without it are described. Analysis of the immediate and long-term results of surgery for pulmonary thromboembolism is presented.
