Abstract:

Considered the ambiguous approaches to the treatment of patients with acute intestinal obstruction caused by left colon cancer determined. All patients were underwent a single-stage treatment - primary radical surgery (obstructive resection) and double-stage operation. In the second group were not observed deaths and serious complications. Administration double-stage operations with the primary formation of a colostomy and subsequent implementation of radical surgery, can improve treatment outcomes and quality of life of patients.
