Abstract:

Up to date laparoscopic pyeloplasty is the essential method of surgical treatment of patients with primary pyeloureteral segment stricture. 32 patients with pyeloureteral segment obstruction in our clinic underwent transperitoneal laparoscopic pyeloplasty. Among them were 14 male and 18 female patients, mean age of whom was 32.0±4.6 years. Surgeries were performed through four trocars. No conversions took place. Urinary leak was observed in 3 cases. In view of pyeloureteral segment stricture recurrence 2 patients underwent retrograde endopyelotomy, 1 patient - open pyeloplasty. Efficacy of laparoscopic pyeloplasty in our group of patients amounted to 90.6%.
