Abstract Concomitant carotid and coronary artery disease is common in clinical practice. Optimal surgical strategy is still unclear in these patients. Case report of a patient with occlusion of the internal carotid artery (ICA), critical stenosis of the contralateral ICA, two-vessel coronary lesion and severe mitral valve insufficiency is presented.
