The largest Russian media holding company specializing in the promotion of professional medical knowledge and
information services in the print and electronic media market, uniting a wide readership and doctors of various
medical specialties in Russia and abroad.
Media Sphere Publishers was founded in 1993 by a group of prominent Russian medical scientists. At the time when
Russian science lost state support and the majority of medical methodological publications were in a critical state,
the team of enthusiastic doctors undertook the noble task of preserving the scientific experience and the
achievements of the Soviet medicine, working with editorial materials and financially supporting the issue of
topical industry journals, most of which had to be actually restored "from the ruins".
At the origins of the revival of the publishing tradition in Russian medicine stood prominent scientists of our time:
For almost thirty years of its existence the media holding has formed a special style of work, which allowed to preserve traditions of old academic school, enrich them with innovations and form a special scientific community of progressively thinking specialists, improving their medical knowledge and competences.
