The paper gives data on reproductive system impairments in 105 adolescent females with verified varying iodine deficiency, the dwellers of iodine-deficiency areas in the Republic of Bashkortostan. A control group consisted of 57 somatically healthy girls with proper menstruation rhythm, harmonious physical and sexual development, and a urinary iodine value of 137±26 µg/l. All the patients underwent a comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination including the estimation of urinary iodine levels. All the adolescents with verified iodine deficiency were found to have reproductive dysfunction. The relationship between reproductive disorders and iodine deficiency was shown.
