Abstract:

One hundred and fifteen women with symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) were examined and the course of their pregnancy and delivery was studied. A control group comprised 100 women with physiological pregnancy. Three grades of SPD were identified according to clinical data and the results of special studies (ultrasound study, X-ray pelvimetry, and magnetic resonance imaging); and delivery methods were defined.
