A therapy with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) could result in analgesia by acting through different mechanisms. Currently there are very few parenterally administrated NSAIDs suitable for the immediate postoperative period. Using the dexketoprofen trometamol 50 mg has good analgesic efficacy and control of pain after surgical treatment in periodontology. This study evaluates the analgesic effect of the dexketoprofen trometamol adhesive film for pain management after periodontal surgery.
