The quality of life of the patients was shown to improve by a factor of 2.3 within 6 months after the aesthetic stomatological treatment. In the patients above 40 years of age, the 2.2-fold improvement was documented which was much higher than in the patients aged between 20 and 40 years. There was a tendency towards the improvement of the quality of life in older age-groups compared with younger ones. Women showed an improvement by a factor of 1.9 which is higher than in men. The highest degree of improvement of the quality of life was documented in the patients in whom the tooth was extracted prior to the aesthetic stomatological treatment and in those having a defect localized on the frontal teeth (2.5 and 2.1 times respectively). Filling on one side of the tooth or placement of a cosmetic crown produces a more noticeable improvement in the quality of life than other forms of aesthetic stomatological treatment.
