Abstract:

Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are a broad group of malignant neoplasms that differ in degree of malignancy and morphological features. An analysis of the literature over the last 10 years indicates that NETs of the major salivary glands are almost not described. A clinical observation of NET of the parotid gland in a 72-year-old patient with asynchronous metastases to the scalp, right frontal sinus, area of the left cavernous sinus has been presented.
