Abstract:

Obesity is a socially significant multidisciplinary problem that has emerged over a short period of time. Current approaches to treating patients with obesity are based on the primary need to correct nutrition and eating behavior regardless of the obesity degree. However, the accessibility of specialized nutritional assistance to the population in the Russian Federation is extremely low. An urgent task is to ensure the accessibility of qualified dietary care in primary healthcare settings for the population. To this end, a structured approach to consultation (performance of work actions) on nutrition correction in adult patients with overweight and obesity in outpatient settings has been developed.
