Abstract:

The review discusses published data on the problem of human-environment interactions, the important aspect of which is public health. Urbanization leads to obvious negative consequences: pollution of the urban environment and hence occurrence of diseases. Man-made air pollution is one of the vital environmental threats in industrialized countries and a risk factor for malignancies.
