Endometrial hyperplasia is one of the topical issues of modern gynecology due to the high incidence of this pathology, as well as the risk of malignant transformation of endometrial hyperplasia into endometrial cancer. Topic of etiopathogenesis of endometrial hyperplasia remains open: the role of the hyperestrogenemia in the development of endometrial hyperplastic processes is not being studied alone, but the contribution of endometrial microbiota, epigenetics and mutational alterations as well. In this regard, there is a necessity to revise approaches to the treatment of patients with verified endometrial hyperplasia. To date, only one drug has been registered for the treatment of endometrial hyperplasia, all other medications are used «off label» according to clinical recommendations.
