INTRODUCTION

Despite the modern possibilities of diagnosis and treatment, the problem of purulent inflammatory diseases of the postpartum period remains relevant: not only the clinical picture changes with the prevalence of erased, sluggish current forms, but also the microbial spectrum of infectious agents, among which associations of opportunistic flora with pronounced antibiotic resistance come to the fore.

PURPOSE OF RESEARCH

To analyze the literature data of domestic and foreign authors in order to highlight the issue of microbiological features of purulent-inflammatory postpartum diseases.

METHODS

The analysis and systematization of data from publications from scientific platforms Web of science, E-library, Scopus, PubMed, UNIVADIS for the period 1985-2020 years.

CONCLUSION

Features of the microbial landscape in the focus of purulent inflammation of postpartum diseases in modern conditions are characterized by the polymicrobial nature of infectious agents with a predominance of the Association of opportunistic microorganisms. All this dictates the need for further study of the spectrum of microorganisms using the most modern research methods for various forms of purulent-inflammatory postpartum diseases, possibly taking into account regional characteristics, in order to develop differentiated schemes of etio-pathogenetic treatment.
