Abstract:

Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome is a congenital aplasia of the uterus and vagina which affects approximately 1 of 4000 newborn girls. Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecological diseases. The frequency of combination of MRKH syndrome with endometriosis is 33-56%. This article describes the different clinical cases, the hypothesis, the genetic aspects related to aplasia of the uterus and vagina in combination with endometriosis.
