Objective — to study the effect of nanoparticles zero-valence iron substance (Fe0) on functional state of the reproductive system of female Balb/c mice with experimental iron-deficiency anemia. Material and methods. Experimental iron deficiency anemia was modeled in the experimental animals by diet for 2 months. We used zero valent iron nanoparticles (Fe0) spherical shape, average size of 40 nm and a 100% iron. Daily conditionally therapeutic dose of a substance INP for mice was 16.8 mg/kg. Results. It was found that the experimental iron deficiency leads to a decrease in the number of oocytes in the ovary, inhibits meiotic maturation of oocytes and also inhibits the uterine contractility. It was shown that a 10-fold oral administration of the iron nanoparticles substance to female mice with an experimental iron deficiency anemia contributes to the normalization of marker blood parameters to level of control healthy animals and leads to improved oocyte meiotic maturation.
