Abstract:

The dynamic changes in breast shape and dimensions, as well as breast position on the chest after augmentation mastopexy are analyzed in the article. There was breast transformation over time with increase of measured distances. The most significant changes were observed for the distance between the nipple and the inframammary fold due to stretching of skin and fibers of the inframammary fold under pressure of the implant. Early postoperative result was not observed in any patient after 18 months. Breast measurements in augmentation mastopexy and analysis of dynamic changes are useful for surgeon to easier manage patients’ expectations.
