Abstract:

Primary signet ring cell carcinoma of the prostate is an extremely rare malignant tumor that is a variant of prostate acinar adenocarcinoma that does not always produce mucin. The paper gives clinical examples of successful surgical treatment in two patients with signet ring cell carcinoma of the prostate. It describes a comprehensive examination, including prostate ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, biopsy, and surgical treatment as radical prostatectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy.
