Abstract:

Nowadays, choosing the optimal strategy for cardiac surgery and solving concomitant organizational problems is one of the priority tasks of healthcare in the Russian Federation. The author presents the main problems in organization of cardiac surgery in the Russian Federation, possible ways of its resolving and description of the concept of a new generation of cardiac surgery care. Development and optimization of cardiac surgery will improve its availability and quality. Moreover, the cost of cardiac surgery may be reduced in long-term period.
