Abstract:

The high popularity of hardware procedures in aesthetic cosmetology requires development and implementation of new dermatocosmetic products contributing to acceleration of skin restoration after treatments. Skin rehabilitation after invasive actions, such as microneedle RF lifting and microablative erbium laser (Er:YAG, 2936 nm), plays an important role in achieving optimal clinical outcome. The process of recovery is influenced not only by the choice of treatment method and adherence to protocols, but also by the competent skin care in the post-procedure period. We present the experience of using an innovative cosmetic gel containing onion extract, pionin, niacinamide, mucopolysaccharides and allantoin. These components provide a comprehensive exposure, including reduction of inflammation, acceleration of tissue regeneration and maintenance of optimal skin humidity level. Such composition makes the agent effective in the recovery period, reducing the risk of complications and improving the quality of rehabilitation. The effectiveness of this gel in patients who underwent procedures of microneedle RF lifting and microablative giant-pulsed laser has been demonstrated in the study. The obtained results confirm a significant reduction in the time of skin recovery and improvement of its appearance compared to standard care.
