Laboratory development of the analogue product as a part of the replacement of imported products not fully represented on the Russian market was carried out. The quality assessment of the product in the form of a revitalizing spray with glycyrrhizic acid for intimate hygiene, manufactured in the laboratory and pilot production conditions using physical, physical and chemical, chemical and microbiological control methods, was carried out. The product consists of biologically active compounds such as glycyrrhizic, folic, ascorbic, malic and fumaric acids. The presence in the composition of licorice extract, the source of naturally created glycyrrhizic acid, determines the developed product to have a pronounced effect on the activity suppression of cytomegalovirus, genital herpes, herpes zoster, papillomavirus. Folic, malic and ascorbic acids contribute to tissue regeneration by regulating and normalizing the immune system. The developed composition and manufacturing technology allowed to obtain a product that contains biological substances in the active form for solution of problems in the intimate zone. Data of quality and safety assessment of cosmetic product for intimate hygiene suggest that the developed product conforms to all specified indicators, established by regulatory documents to quality.
