Abstract:

The article presents the current literature data on the features of clinical manifestations of herpesvirus infection in dermatology, including recurrent facial and labial herpes, herpes zoster, herpes eczema, and herpesvirus-associated polymorphic exudative erythema. We provide basic principles and regimens of antiviral therapy and present our own experience of the effective therapy of the diseases caused by herpes simplex virus with valacyclovir (Valvira).
