Sexually-transmitted infections are known to have negative effect on the reproductive health of the general population. Their incidence is of special interest under conditions of demographic crisis. We have undertaken the analysis of the current situation concerning sexually-transmitted infection morbidity at the territory of the Russian Federation during the last two years. It was shown that it remains especially unfavourable in the Far East and Siberian federal okrugs (regions).
