Abstract:

The main group of patients consisted of 32 patients, whom the catheter microenterostomy were used for the feeding. The control group (n=36) received the feeding through the nasointestinal double-channel transnasal combined tube. The first device proved to have minimal negative influence on the quality of life, permitting, at the same time, adequate enteral feeding, minimal frequency of lung complications and decrease of the hospital stay.
