Abstract:

Aim — to present surgical outcomes in patients with locally advanced chest tumors followed by invasion of great vessels and heart who underwent thoracic surgery with cardiac surgical technologies. Material and methods. The study included 45 patients operated from 2005 to 2016. Mediastinal tumors were observed in 26 patients, non-small cell lung cancer in 19 patients. Patients were divided into 2 groups, depending on type of resection. Results. Tactical and diagnostic approach, variants of surgical repair of thoracic aorta, pulmonary trunk, atria and great veins were described. Immediate and long-term results were analyzed.
