It was performed a comparative analysis of coronary artery bypass grafting under cardiopulmonary bypass or without it in patients with coronary heart disease and diabetes mellitus. According to our data there were not advantages in any methods of myocardial revascularization by frequency of acute heart failure occurrence in immediate postoperative period, acute myocardial infarction, respiratory failure requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation, renal dysfunction, as well as in mortality rate. These methods can be equally used according to individual characteristics of coronary lesion and the surgeon's preference.
