Increased level of lipoprotein (a)-Lp (a) exceeding 60 mg/dl is thought to be one of the causes of CHD relapse after myocardial revascularization. 26 working-age patients (up to 55 years in women and 60 years in men) undergoing reconstructive coronary interventions were included in the study. After the operation all patients receiving initial drug therapy were randomized into 2 groups. Patients from the 1 group (n=14) received lipid-reducing treatment with rozuvastatin 10 mg a day. Patients from the II group (n=12) received rozuvastatin10 mg a day in combination with monthly procedures of cascade plasma filtration. The follow-up period amounted 12 months. Level of Lp (a) during the 12 months didn't change significantly in the first group (122,6±36,5 mg/dl initially against 119,6±34,5 mg/dl at the final visit). Combined therapy led to its statistically significant decrease form 115,3±41,7 to 86,6±27,8 mg/dl (р<0,01). Thereby level of Lp(a) decreased by 62.8% in the group of combined therapy and by 2.5% in rozuvastatin group. In patients receiving combined therapy average level of Lp(a) in period between plasma filtration procedures amounted 43±16,3 md/dl. It is drawn a conclusion that combination of therapy with rozuvastatin and cascade plasma filtration allows achieving target values of lipids and Lp (a) in all patients. Taking into account high efficacy and safety of this combination, its application is reasonable for patients after myocardial revascularization.
