One of the driving factors in pathogenesis of chronic venous insufficiency is disturbances in microcirculation. Computer capillaroscopy enables to assess the status of capillary blood flow with the aid of modern noninvasive high-information technique. The study included 23 healthy volunteers in whom computer capillaroscopy of lower extremities was performed and 41 patients with chronic venous insufficiency C6 due to CEAP classification complicated by trophic ulcers of the thigh and foot. Normal parameters of lower extremities microcirculation are defined in males and females. Statistically significant capillaroscopic signs of microcirculation disturbances are determined in patients with C6 chronic venous insufficiency. Main features among them are changes in morphologic structure of capillary network towards prevalence of the most misshaped 3rdtype capillaries ("glomerules"), reduction of difference between the diameters of arterial and venous portions of anses capillaires, capillary blood flow by 1,5-1,8 times and increase in erythrocyte aggregation. Computer capillaroscopy may be recommended as effective diagnostic tool for the assessment of microcirculation disturbances chronic venous insufficiency complicated by trophic ulcers.
