Abstract:

This article was designed to report a case of primary lymphoma affecting the pancreas and the liver in a 76 year-old female patient. The literature data concerning the frequency of occurrence and the clinical picture of this condition as well as the peculiarities of iinstrumental diagnostics of this pathology are presented, with the emphasis being placed on the mandatory performance of the immunohistochemical study of biopsy specimens of the tumor tissue the results of which are shown to provide a basis for the choice of the strategy and the methods of the treatment of the patients presenting with this condition.
