Abstract:

Neck pain is a serious problem of modern society and health care economy due to lost productivity, increased number of missed working days and paying sickness certificate. The risk factors associated with development or persistence of neck pain are considered. Modern evidence-based data on diagnosis and treatment of neck pain are given. The authors present patients with chronic nonspecific neck pain. The last ones underwent a comprehensive management including educational conversation about genesis of pain, daily physical activity, active decision-making and optimal drug therapy.
