AIM OF STUDY

Improving the efficiency of predicting the risk of developing fetal growth retardation syndrome.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

A retrospective and prospective examination of 300 pregnant women at 22 to 36 weeks of gestation with a confirmed diagnosis of chronic fetoplacental insufficiency and the presence of fetal growth retardation syndrome of I, II and III degrees was carried out. The standard clinical and laboratory examination methods, echography (placentography, fetometry, assessment of amniotic fluid) and Doppler, bacteriological and pathomorphological examination of the placenta were used.

RESULTS

During anthropometric, anamnestic, clinical, echographic examination of pregnant women, results were obtained, which were evaluated on a point system, taking into account their informative value. Based on the results of the study, a method for predicting the risk of developing fetal growth retardation syndrome was proposed.

CONCLUSIONS

The use of the method allows with high accuracy and in early pregnancy to predict the formation of fetal growth retardation syndrome quickly and with low economic costs, which makes it possible to timely prescribe appropriate therapy and avoid reproductive losses associated with the birth of children with fetal growth retardation syndrome.
