Tooth extraction is quite a traumatic operation that can lead to serious complications. In the described clinical example, we observed a hematoma of the floor of the cavity — a rare complication after tooth extraction, which developed due to an increase in blood pressure and required an emergency tracheostomy operation to restore airway patency.
