The main reason of high mortality among patients with Turner syndrome is cardiovascular pathology, especially aortic dissection and aortoclasia. Congenital defects of heart and main vessels are diagnosed among of 30% of patients with Turner syndrome. The most often pathologies are: aortal coarctation (30%) and bicuspidal aortic valve (30—50%), rarely (5%) — dilatation of aortic root. Modern data were used for this literature review in period from 2011 to 2016. Timely diagnosis and rational surgical correction of congenital heart and aortic defects prevent dangerous complications. Also there are more data that patients with Turner syndrome have high risk of manifestation of acquires cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, especially coronary heart disease.
