The article is devoted to the study of the processes occurring in the female body during the extinction of reproductive function, characterized by physical, endocrine, and psychological changes that negatively affect the quality of life. The role of the pineal gland hormone melatonin in the development of age-related changes in the body is reflected. The prospects of using a drug based on Pineamine polypeptides and modern laser therapy methods in the treatment of pathological conditions associated with hormonal imbalance due to age-related changes in the reproductive system or diseases accompanied by premature ovarian insufficiency have been studied. Based on the literature analysis, conclusions can be drawn about the high efficiency and safety of these methods. Of great interest is the study of the effectiveness of the combined use of these methods, which requires further research.
