Abstract:

Inframammary fold is an important component of attractive and normal appearance of a breast. Therefore, it is an essential structure in optimal aesthetic result of breast reconstruction. It is necessary to restore the fold during breast reconstruction, because it allows to achieve the result similar to natural breast. Current surgical methods of inframammary fold repair have different technical features, which affects the final aesthetic result of reconstructive surgery. Therefore, comparative evaluation of the most common methods of inframammary fold repair techniques is performe din the article in order to assess efficiency of these methods.
