Abstract:

Aim of study. The study of variant anatomy of the portal vein according to computer tomography. Material and methods. The results of 100 multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) of the abdominal organs from the archive of clinics of the Samara State Medical University for 2018-2019 served us as the study material. For mathematical modeling and the creation of three-dimensional models of the vascular bed, plug-ins in the Luch and Avtoplan programs were used, which made it possible to obtain three-dimensional models based on MSCT data. We studied the options for portal vein confluence and the angle parameters formed by the trunk and roots of the portal vein, taking into account the gender and age of the patients. To determine the type of confluence, classification by P. Krumm et al. (2011) was used. Results. It was established that type A confluence occurred in 37% of cases, type B confluence in 36%, and type C confluence in 16%. There were no statistically significant differences in the angles formed by the trunk and the roots of the portal vein in patients of different age groups and sex.
