A sufficiently large number of patients with colorectal cancer and liver metastases and standard treatments that can increase long-term results necessitate the improvement of used treatments through accompanying therapy options. The problem of prevention of liver failure is still relevant in patients undergoing liver surgery. In particular, this also applies to a treatment option, such as radiofrequency ablation for metastases. To date, it is relevant to evaluate of the efficacy of various hepatoprotectors in preventing liver failure after radiofrequency ablation. The use of the Russian drug Remaxol is considered as an option for this therapy. A comparative analysis has shown that Remaxol infusions used at the stages of correction in patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation contribute to a more rapid normalization of metabolic liver disorders.
