The paper describes a case of recurrent cavernous pulmonary tuberculosis concurrent with cervical carcinoma in situ in a young patient. It outlines her history of the disease, the development of concomitant complications, and difficulties in the simultaneous treatment of the tuberculous process and cancer. Analysis of the course of the disease could reveal the role of persistent papillomavirus infection in the etiology and pathogenesis of the malignant process of the cervix uteri in the patient with severe immunodeficiency. Timely histological verification of carcinoma in situ, radiowave conization of the cervix uteri, and effective antituberculous and antiviral treatments could cure and improve prognosis for further reproductive function.
