Abstract:

The work is devoted to the urgent problem of modern dermatovenerology - the search for ways to overcome the recurrence of infections of the urogenital tract. Emphasis is placed on immunopathogenesis and methods of treatment of the most common infections - papilloma and herpesvirus. The relationship of recurrence of these infections with the state of the immune system of patients is considered. The analysis of the treatment results for patients with recurrent genital warts and recurrent genital herpes is presented. The effectiveness of combined therapy using an immunotropic drug is shown. As a result of immunotherapy, a decrease in the frequency of relapse of viral infections of the urogenital tract and a cessation of viral shedding were achieved. Methods of using an immunotropic drug: intramuscular injections of 200 IU for 3 consecutive days, daily (1, 2, 3 days of treatment), then a break of 4 days and a repeat of the 3-day course of therapy (8, 9 and 10 days of treatment). Drug is injected 1 time per day, for a course of 6 injections. The use of an immunotropic drug can significantly improve treatment outcomes, including improving the quality of life and significantly reducing the shedding of pathogens of urogenital viral infections to patients.
